Sustainable Homes Scotland Limited trading as PAUL Heat Recovery Scotland is a Scottish based company, which has grown in recent years from being the distributor of PAUL MVHR systems to a specialist centre for highly efficient ventilation solutions. Being involved in the start of Passivhaus buildings in Scotland, we have completed a number of projects to highest energy standards. As such we have gained significant experience in the specification, design, installation and maintenance of MVHR systems.
With a huge variety of systems on the market, we have identified a selection of high quality systems and components, which meet our high expectations with no compromises. In a fairly new industry without a wide knowledge basis, we see it as our responsibility to not just sell products, but to embed our project in a package of consultancy, design, specification, installation or installation support and commissioning to make sure that each installation is successful.
Recently we have widened our portfolio to demand controlled units with active air transfer
We are co-operating with the Mackintosh Environmental Architectural Research Unit (MEARU) and various universities in Scotland on the implementation of innovative ventilation solutions. For several years we have co-operated with the University of Strathclyde in delivering parts of the Passivhaus Designer Course. We are also involved in an inter-disciplinary network ‘Health Effects of Modern Airtight Construction’ (HEMAC).
