Control Options Zehnder ComfoAir

Control Options

All of the ComfoAir MVHR units have the same control options as below. Please be aware that the controllers for the ComfoAir 160, 180, 200 and 350 are not compatible with the ComfoAir Q range, although they look the same.

  • CCS (ComfoSense 67) controller – Cat no: 655010235: LED controller
  • CCBL ComfoSwitch 3-step controller
  • RFZ wireless 3-step controller
  • LAN C controller for app control (only new MVHR units with new PCB)

Zehnder’s ComfoAir range of MVHR units are very useful for smaller dwellings, whether to low energy, Passive House or normal standard.

They can be automated with two CO2 sensors, but usually they are used with the CCB LED control panel, which is ok to use, but not the most user friendly one.

Please note that these units are not as quiet as the ComfoAir Q range of units, although they are not as noisy as most Economy MVHR units. So, please don’t sit them into a bedroom cupboard, unless they run at a low ventilation level. We would always specify these systems with a good noise attenuator for the supply air (e.g. LRCA 125 1000 or SLU 125 900) and ideally also for the supply air (e.g. LRCA 125 500).
