Stefan has been involved with the implementation of Passivhaus and energy efficient building technologies in Scotland since 2007. As co-founder of the former Scottish Passivhaus Centre, Stefan has a wealth of knowledge and experience of the industry and in 2010, Stefan specialised in MVHR systems, leading to his position as Managing Director of PAUL Heat Recovery.
His passion for Passivhaus and the science behind it has paved Stefan’s journey and success in the industry and he continues to show his enthusiasm for providing solutions that help to improve the health and wellbeing of people. He brings that passion to the PAUL Heat Recovery business and strives to ensure the company blossoms and offers customers a well-designed, accurate specification and installation.
Stefan has built on the lessons learned from Passivhaus which, in his eyes, defines best practice standards for the specification, design and installation of MVHR systems and creates the right culture for sustainability and innovation. He is enthusiastic in his endeavours to pass on his knowledge, experience and key insights over the years and create a much wider understanding of the importance of quality, reliability, efficiency and sustainability.
Stefan’s work is not his only passion in life. Outside of work Stefan runs a local charity in Perth (Perth Hope Hub) as well as volunteering as a street pastor, listening, helping and caring for people on the streets of Perth.
Stefan comments: “I am excited about optimising technology. This enables us to serve our customers in a better way and improve their lives. It has been a challenging journey, but I see the fruits of our now employee-owned company makes it all worthwhile.”
