Filtered Extract Terminal in Stainless Steel with Open Back

  • This robust extract terminal is made of powder coated metal with a stainless steel front cover. It has got an in-built G3 grease filter mat, which can easily be replaced. The advantage over extract valves with hidden filter cones is that the state of the filter is visible and it is less probably that the regular maintenance is being forgotten.

Description

Slim air valves, e.g. KU125 can be placed inside this filter element so that the air flows can be adjusted. Without valve the typical extract rate through the element is about 50-65 m3/h in a normal domestic setting.

The filter terminal sits either horizontally below the plasterboard or vertically on the wall. It has an open back for any size of duct connection. It is important that the duct is sealed towards the plasterboard as it penetrates through it, in order to avoid air leakage.
