Award winning energy efficiency
With the Kingswood Passivhaus, which was built in Edinburgh in 2016, we have entered into the competition for the 2017 Energy Efficiency Awards for small scale projects. We have jointly entered the application with Steff Bell of Future Komfort, a Fife based Architectural specialist on energy efficient buildings.
The house was built on a brownfield site of an disused water tank, it incoporates super insulation, an extremenly airtight shell and a PAUL novus 300 MVHR system.
What a nice surprise for all of us that we won one of the awards at the awards ceremony in the Glasgow Double Tree on the 2nd of March.
We will soon let you know more about the project itself.
